EK Health Services announced today that Oliver Ostlander has been hired as Vice President of Operations and Business Development.
Ostlander, formerly executive director of service center operations at Coventry Health Care, is an accomplished insurance industry executive with demonstrated success in managing large insurance and healthcare operations.
Equipped with business and technical knowledge that supported a series of wide-ranging insurance applications, Ostlander has managed enterprise cost containment systems that supported over $700 million in annual revenue. He is experienced in Workers’ Compensation product intelligence, having managed systems with over 100,000 various medical transactions per day with strict service level agreements and exceptional customer service.
He has over 14 years experience managing, developing and improving business and operational systems that included 10 distinct medical bill review systems. He has controlled operations with over 200 personnel and a budget in excess of $35 million.
Ostlander served as director of product management at CS STARS (Marsh & McLennan Company) and product development manager at FICO. He is proficient at administering large-scale projects, including managing over 12 distinct departments in parallel.
