Claims Management Executive Brings 17 Years’ Experience to Leading Workers’ Compensation Managed Care Company

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EK Health Services has hired claims management executive Kerri L. Lierman as Vice President of Operations for this leading workers’ compensation managed care company.

As a member of the EK Health executive team, Lierman is responsible for strategic planning, operational budgeting and directing, and for maintaining and planning an array of EK Health’s services and programs. Her role includes direct management of the EK Health’s bill review, operations, utilization review, case management and Medical Provider Networks (MPN).

With 17 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Lierman is skilled at claims, personnel, and process management. She is accomplished in managing the technical, medical and legal aspects of claims in multiple jurisdictions.

A former claims executive with Zenith Insurance Company, Lierman is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). She has earned a Master of Business Administration, Business Management from St. Edward’s University, and a Bachelor of Arts, Sociology and Spanish from the University of Southern California. Lierman is from Huntington Beach and currently resides in Dublin, California.
