Our Field Case Management (FCM) service encompasses the very essence of EK Health. With face-to-face contact between the FCM Nurse and the Injured Worker all parties benefit.

This level of direct interaction ensures the:

  • Injured Worker receives immediate clarification of information and objective support;
  • Customer receives accurate information relative to the Injured Worker; and,
  • Employer now has a resource at their disposal to assist with the Return-To-Work process.

Through direct communication, EK Health’s FCM nurses are able to impact cases positively, striving to provide favorable resolution of all issues. Once an FCM assignment is initiated, the FCM Nurse works with the Claims Examiner and others, as needed, to devise a case management plan of action.
